Future plans for The Galleries

You may have heard on the news that plans have been revealed for the re-development of the Galleries. These plans are due to start in July 2024. We are not yet aware of any impact on the practice. Public consultation events are planned for next week:

Text Service Change

Broadmead Medical Centre is set to change the service it uses to send text reminders for appointments and invitations for health reviews. This may cause some disruption in these texts, and the format may look different. Please be sure of appointment times when booking appointments, and if unsure, please call 021179549828 to speak to reception, or check your appointments on Patient Access.

Flu Vaccination Clinics

Appointments in our flu vaccination clinics are available, with appointments being between September and October. Please head to this page to see if you are elligible for a free flu vaccination.

Morning opening

Due to some changes to Boots opening times, the practice is unable to open for non scheduled events before 09:00 until further notice. A member of staff will be at the front entrance to support anyone with a pre-booked appointment prior to 9am during this time.

BNSSG Musculoskeletal App

The getUBetter app is provided free of charge by BNSSG CCG for patients registered ar Broadmead Medical Centre. It can be accessed on a smartphone or on the Web and guides you day-by-day through a sequence of exercises and tips to help you get better from a range of new or recurrent musculoskeletal conditions:

  • Lower back pain
  • Back and leg pain
  • Neck pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Ankle pain
  • Soft tissue injury
  • Knee pain

You will be referred to the App by one of our GPs or Physio, or you can self registerby clicking on the image here.
